Cookies are small records stored by your browser. We use a first-party cookie to keep an email account signed in. Storing account data in our database is separate from storing a cookie in your browser.
Email sign-in cookie

This cookie is set after you successfully verify your email code. It is restricted to secure connections and cannot be read by page JavaScript. It is used for the sign-in service you request, rather than advertising.
Hosting and optional ChatGPT sign-in
The hosting platform and Cloudflare may use additional authentication, security or challenge cookies when those features are active. If you choose ChatGPT sign-in, OpenAI manages that authentication flow and associated cookies. See OpenAI’s cookie policy and Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare’s Web Analytics beacon on public learning pages. Cloudflare states that this beacon does not store or read cookies, local storage, session storage or IndexedDB. It collects usage and performance measurements, explained in our privacy policy. It is not an advertising tracker.
Your choices
You can read the manual without signing in. Blocking the session cookie prevents email sign-in from working correctly. Your browser lets you inspect, block and delete cookies. Clearing a cookie signs you out but does not delete your saved account data; request account deletion separately.
The site currently has no optional advertising or marketing cookies to accept. If we introduce technologies requiring consent, we will request that consent before activating them and provide a way to withdraw it. For questions or objections about analytics, contact us.
